Egg White
Granulated Sugar
Edible Flowers (preferably with enough stem to get a grip on)
Small, Soft, Round Artists Brush
Wax Paper
Instructions:1. Rinse flowers of any dust, dew, excess pollen, or whatever else.
2. Paint the all of the flower with the egg white.
3. Coat in sugar.
4. Place on wax paper.
5. Let dry overnight at least, preferably for a full day or two.
The sugar cures the flowers, so these can be kept for at least a year. If you don't eat them first. :P

Every time I visit your blog I think I add a pound of weight just because it makes me hungry! The oatmeal dish, while a delightful recipe is almost more of a desert than it is a breakfast meal.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry. I had no choice. I had to become a blog follower.
That's what Breakfast is for, isn't it? To get you enough sugar to make it through the day with lots of energy? *wicked grin*
