Cookies

I need to find a good cookie recipe. No, better than good. Excellent and Unique.
Baking is not my forte. I can't measure anything, because I can never remember how much of a thing I've put in. Cooking, as in not Baking, is relative, and if you screw up you can taste it right away and fix it. But if you add too much flour to a loaf of bread, you're not going to taste it.
I'll be going to a Cookie Exchange at the Fischers' next Sunday, at which there will likely be several incredible bakers and chefs, the Fischers and my own family included. I have no hope of making better cookies, but I'd like not to make an ass of myself. Mine won't be the best, but I'd like them to be in the same league at least.
But because baking isn't what I do best, I have no recipes on hand. I'll think of something though, I'm sure.
